Privacy Policy

Effective January 1, 2025Updated September 2026

Ackle Consulting Group LLC(“Ackle,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.ackleconsulting.com and in the course of our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you contact us, use the contact form, ask the assistant to email you a conversation, or engage our services, we collect what you give us: typically your name, email address, company, phone number and the content of your message or conversation.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites we receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring pages. We use privacy-respecting analytics where possible. IP addresses attached to form submissions are stored only as a salted hash, used to detect abuse.

The Ask ackle assistant

Questions you type into the assistant are sent to our server and to Anthropic's API to generate a reply. Conversations are held in your browser session and are not stored by us unless you ask to have the conversation emailed to you, in which case we keep the transcript with your email address so a partner can follow up. The assistant is an AI system; it can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal or tax advice.

How we use information

To provide and improve our services; to respond to inquiries and follow up on leads; to communicate with you about engagements; to keep the website secure; and to comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

The website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage for functionality (for example, keeping your assistant conversation on the page) and, where enabled, analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, database, and AI model providers), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Ackle and others. We may share aggregated or anonymized information that cannot identify you.

International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer information across borders we take reasonable steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, respond to you, and meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, receive a copy of, correct, delete, or restrict or object to our processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email legal@ackleconsulting.com.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above tells you when it last changed.
